Holistic Cold Protocol
Begin this protocol at the onset of a cold & continue till symptoms go away. *This is not medical advice; it is simply “what I would do”*

First Steps Immune Support:
Hydrate with as many liquids as you can, ideally ten or more 8oz glasses per day. Water with salt and lemon juice(this is the best), electrolytes, herbal tea, bone broth, fruit juices, etc. (no coffee or alcohol.)
Drink the Immune Boost Tea (instruction in Recipes section) 2-5x daily with raw honey and lemon juice to taste
Foods to eat: dark leafy greens, berries, brightly colored veggies, raw ginger and garlic, thyme, turmeric, basil, oregano, eggs, cod liver oil, beef liver, grassfed butter, lemon juice
Avoid dairy, sugar, processed grains, processed foods, coffee, and alcohol
Fermented Garlic Honey: 1 Tbsp honey 1-3x daily (eat the garlic too!)
Healthy Body Roller: roll on the spine, chest & bottoms of the feet, 5x a day (instructions in Recipes section)
Diffuse essential oils: Lavender, Thieves, Purification, Eucalyptus, Melrose, TeaTree, Sacred Mountain, RC, Immupro, Frankincense, Rosemary, etc. 10-15 drops at a time of any mix of the oils diffused around the clock
Pray for healing in the powerful name of Jesus!
Vitamins/Minerals: (take in addition to your daily supplements):
Inner Defense: 1 capsule and/or ImmuPro: 2 tablets (for kids ImmuGummies: 1 gummy) taken 3x a day,
Vitamin C 2,000mg or 2.5tsp daily (Acerola Vitamin C Powder) (240-720mg or ¼-¾ tsp for kids)
Vitamin D - 2,000 IU or 2 tablets, 2x a day (2 Super D)
Mushroom Immune capsules - 3 capsules, 2x a day (skip for kids)
Zinc 30 mg daily
Antioxidants & cellular health (Ningxia Red) - 2oz juice, 3x a day
After implementing the First Steps Immune Support items, try:
Detox bath (or foot soak) followed immediately by the wet sock treatment and getting into bed to rest/sleep (instructions in the Methods section)
Cleansing the bowels with strong tea, herbs or Digize oil will help your body detox the bacteria. (If you are not pooping 1-3x a day, visit the Constipation section.
Steam inhalation session 1-3x daily (instructions in Methods section)
Gargle with ½ tsp salt in 4oz water 3x daily.
High dose Vitamin C (instructions in Methods section)
Vitamin A: 25,000 units (I recommend Green Pasture cod liver oil)
Chest Rub Balm (see Recipes section)
Homeopathics: dosage is two tablets every 15 minutes the first hour, then two tablets every hour for the rest of the day. Set a timer so you don’t forget. Use one homeopathic for 3-6 hours, and if you see no difference, try another. Which homeopathics? If you have…

Painful croup or hacking cough with membranous, stringy, sticky, and colored discharge: Hepar Sulph or Kali Bich
Clear discharge, sneezing, nose running like a faucet: Allium Cepa
Nose stuffed overnight, eyes watering, for nursing babies with blocked nose: Nux Vom
Lingering illness: Sulphur
Rattling cough, thick, yellow phlegm: Kali Suph
Frothy, pus, or blood-stained, sweet or salty phlegm.
